Former undisputed
heavyweight boxing champion Rocky Balboa, once a celebrated national
hero, is now living in obscurity and in near poverty in Philadelphia.
But we can change that!
We are
lobbying the President of the United States to issue Rocky Balboa the
Congressional Medal of Honor, but also - by an executive order - a full
military pension that will allow him to enjoy a comfortable, healthy,
and honorable retirement.
Though it was Ronald Reagan
who asked for the wall to be torn down, it was Rocky Balboa who
participated in the first internationally televised professional
sporting event between an American and a Russian. His service to
his country left him unable to professionally fight and bankrupt.
To have a man that captured the spirit of America living physically
broken and in poverty is a disgrace to our national character.
Rocky Balboa was never
officially recognized for his 1987 fight against Ivan Drago or for the
goodwill he created between the American and Russian people. But
this can all change with your help!
